Students can apply for merit seat for 11th grade in top schools/colleges. 80% score in Goa 10th exam is considered as a good mark to get into reputed institution for Plus one.

There is no other exam in the nation which is conducted for the Admission to the Medical PG courses or post MBBS courses but the AIIMS and some other institutions conduct their separate exam.

For general students 60 marks is not good enough for admission in top NITs or IIITs. 60 marks will be around 80 percentile and will give rank between 1.5 and 2.5 lakhs.

The National Board of Examinations in the Medical Sciences notify the minimum qualifying percentile for each category separately in the following manner:
