The educational system of Odisha includes special enrollment provisions for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) staff members at its government engineering institutions. The Odisha Government established a 3% reservation of total seats in its government engineering colleges for the children of Central Armed Police Forces personnel. The specified quota enables admission access to both Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) educational programs. The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT) in Sarang, Odisha operates 480 seats with 14 which specifically belong to CAPF personnel wards. Out of the 420 seats at the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) in Bhubaneswar the CAPF personnel wards maintain 14 allocated spots.

Due to competitive nature of physiotherapy seats their availability depends on both college selection and the chosen course program. Ranks higher than 30,000 could lead to tougher competition according to the case of the candidate who held rank 39,001. Better chances exist when you select colleges accepting students with Andhra Pradesh EAMCET ranks that fall between 25,000 and 80,000 or 80,000 and 1,00,000.
