It is not compulsory for you to give an entrance exam for admission to BTech Mining Engineering course. Several reputed colleges and universities in India also admit students on the basis of the marks secured by them in Class 12 board exams. They usually take further assessment rounds like PI and GD in such cases.

You can work hard for your board examination, score excellent marks, and apply to Mining Engineering colleges that offer merit-based admissions. You must check out for such colleges well in advance and then prepare accordingly.

A respectable GRE score is typically considered to be 310+. In this score range, you can target a wide range of reputable universities. Your overall GRE score will be between 260 and 340, which includes the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections. Score of Analytical Writting section is not included in the combined GRE score. If your score is 4.5+ in AWA then it's a good score.
