What is DPU AIET?
All India Entrance Test (AIET) is conducted by Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune for admission to MBA and BBA programmes offered at its Global Business School and Research Centre. The exam is conducted in online proctored mode, and candidates have to attempt MCQs on topics of English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. The entrance test is conducted in multiple phases. Candidates can choose to appear for the exam as per their preference for the exam session. Candidates having CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA scores can seek admission to MBA programme without having to appear for AIET.

DPU AIET 2026 Eligibility and Application
DPU AIET aspirants have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by DY Patil University.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA programmes:
- Candidates must have cleared bachelor’s degree with minimum 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University (45 per cent for Reserved Category Candidates)
- Candidates in their final year or awaiting final year result are also eligible to apply

DPU AIET is an easy exam. To prepare for DPU AIET exam, candidates must prepare all the topics included in the AIET syllabus. The exam pattern is same as other MBA entrance exam so one needs to go through the syllabus and also practice mock sessions to gain speed and accuracy in solving MCQ based questions. If one has appeared for a national level entrance exam, they will need to only practice AIET sample tests. Those who are planning to appear for AIET only, must start preparation six months before the exam.
Candidates can edit the DPU AIET application form before submitting it. There is no provision of form correction for this exam. Thus, candidates must ensure they fill the AIET form with correct and verifiable information. They cannot change any information later. If they make an error, they will have to fill a fresh form and pay the fee again.
DPU AIET is conducted in remote proctored mode. Candidates can appear for the exam from any location. They need a laptop/desktop with functional camera, high speed uninterrupted internet connection.
The minimum eligibility criteria for DPU AIET MBA course is graduation. Candidates having graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university are eligible apply. The minimum score requirement is 50 percent for General category candidates and 45 percent Reserved category candidates. Final year graduation students can also appear for AIET.
After appearing for AIET, candidates have to appear for selection process round which includes, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Those who clear the AIET exam are shortlisted for the GD/PI round. Final selection is based on candidate’s overall performance in all the stages of admission process. Candidates can seek admission to DPU through CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA scores too.
DPU AIET fee is non-refundable. Candidates cannot seek fee refund under any circumstances. Thus, candidates must fill the AIET application from only when they are sure of seeking admission to the university.

The AIET syllabus for BBA has same topics as MBA, the difficulty level is as per class 12. The AIET syllabus includes Numerical Ability, General Knowledge, English Language, Reasoning Ability and Business Judgement. The topics to study are English Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Grammar, Vocabulary, Mensuration, Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Data Interpretation, Sets, Number System, Syllogism, Statement and Conclusion, Critical Reasoning, Puzzles, Visual Reasoning, Arrangements, Static GK and Current Affairs.
