Yes, you can change IELTS test date after booking. But there are some rules. If you ask to change the date more than 5 weeks before the test, it is free. If you ask less than 5 weeks before the test, then you need to pay 10% of IELTS test fee. So, always try to plan early to save money.

Yes, as BSc admission takes place through the score and rank secured in CUET entrance exam, the candidate has to apply for the exam to gain admission into the programme. Gauhati University does not accept or conduct any other exam for admission into the BSc programme. In addition to that, candidates should also have a minimum aggregate of 40% in their Class 12 to be eligible for admission into the Gauhati University BSc programme.

The IELTS cut-off score for a US student visa is not same for all. Most universities need 6.0 to 6.5 band to join. Top universities may need higher score. Always check the college website for exact IELTS requirement. Visa approval also needs documents and other requirements.

There is no fixed pass mark for IELTS. Some schools or programs may accept 5.5, especially if their English requirement is low. But many universities and visa programs usually want 6.0 or more. So it is better to aim higher if you can.
