Bocconi Entrance Test (BET) 2026: Registration (Started), Exam Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

There will be 54 MCQs in total in BET question paper spread across 3 sections. Exam will be conducted in CBT test mode for 70 minutes. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking in BET exam.

The BET application form 2026 for the MBA programme is available online on the SDA Bocconi official website. Candidates who wish to appear for the BET 2026 exam can register using their email ID. Here are the application deadlines for the BET 2026 registration rounds:

The BET syllabus includes three major sections, i.e. Verbal Reasoning, Numeric Reasoning and Inductive Reasoning. The important topics of the BET syllabus 2026 are:

Verbal Reasoning- Reading Comprehension, Tenses, Parts of Speech, Grammar, Error Spotting, Sentence Completion, Syllogims, Idioms, One word substitution, etc. 

Numeric Reasoning- Number System, Algebra, Profit and Loss, HCF and LCM, Surds and Indices, Time Speed and Distance, Averages, Ratio and Proportions, Trigonometry, etc. 

Inductive Reasoning- Blood Relations, Statements and Conclusions, Propositions, Data Arrangements, Direction Sense, Puzzles, Coding and Decoding, Series, Data Structures, etc. 

There are three sections in the Bocconi Entrance Test (BET). There are 18 multiple-choice questions in each section. The three sections of the BET exam include:

BET is conducted for MBA admissions at SDA Bocconi Asia Centre. BET is considered easy to moderate in terms of difficulty. 

No. Bocconi Centre does not facilitate the BET application process in an offline mode. Candidates can register themselves for BET exam in an online mode only.

The BET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. Each question will have multiple choice answers, and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking and no marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions. 

To crack BET exam in first attempt, students should have a preparation plan for 3 to 6 months bifurcated according to topics, strengths and knowledge of students. Students should consistently practice to fetch good BET scores. 

There are 54 questions in the SDA BET exam. All questions are in the multiple choice format. 

The duration of the SDA Bocconi Entrance Test will be 70 minutes or 1 hour 10 mins. The exam will be conducted in the online mode.

Candidates who pass the BET are shortlisted for further rounds of selection, which usually include a Personal Interview (PI) and possibly a Group Discussion (GD). Final selection is based on a combination of the BET score, academic performance, and interview performance.

Yes, a student can still take admission to the Bocconi University even if she/he has not appeared for the Bocconi Entrance Test. Such students can submit the scores obtained by them in any other entrance exam such as CAT, GMAT, NMAT or GRE for admissions.  If you already have a valid score in one of these exams, you can use it for admission.

Yes, you can appear for the BET multiple times. BET 2026 will be conducted in multiple times. The last date of submission of the application for Round 1 was November 21, 2025. The second round submission deadline was January 22, 2026. The round 3 submission deadline is March 23, 2026. However, for admissions only the best score obtained in either of the rounds will be considered. 

The BET, Bocconi Entrance Test is considered easier than the GMAT or GRE. All three tests assess similar skills, i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Thinking. But the BET exam focuses on reasoning and management specific applications.

It has a shorter duration and does not include the advance level mathematics as in the case of GMAT or GRE. Additionally, the BET is known for having no negative marking, which reduces the pressure.

Conducted by Bocconi University in Milan, BET exam is conducted for admission to PG programmes offered by the university. BET exam checks the aptitude of students in mathematics, logical reasoning, politics, law and government. 

A good score that supports the candidate's BET application for admissions is 35 points out of 50. In order to score 35, candidates will need to answer EVERY question on the test. They should not leave the answers blank. Students can use the process of elimination to answer the questions with speed and accuracy.
