What is KEE?

KEE is the abbreviated form of the Karunya Entrance Examination. KEE is an online test conducted by the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences for admission to all BTech courses and BSc (Hons) Agriculture courses offered by the varsity. The KEE exam has a total of 100 MCQs that are to be answered within 120 minutes. The total mark in the exam is 300, where each question carries 3 marks and there is negative marking of -1. Admission process for the KEE exam: The procedure for Admission of students in any undergraduate/postgraduate programme of KITS (Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences) for Indian Nationals is as below:

  • The students can log on to the official website of the college and submit an EOI (expression of interest) online about the course they would like to pursue at KITS.
  • After the expression of interest is received, the students will get an acknowledgment SMS and email from the KITS indicating the application number and passcode.
  • With the application number and passcode, the students can submit their online application at the official website.
  • After successfully submitting the Application form, the students need to pay the application form fee of INR 1000.
  • The registered candidates have to then appear for KEE.
  • Students who will qualify the KEE entrance test will be eligible for participation in counselling and the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences admission process. The University provides admission based on the candidate's performance in KEE.

The application process to apply for KEE 2026 is online. It encompasses several stages like registration, filling the application form, uploading required documents, fee payment and final submission.

Prior to applying for the KEE 2026 exam, candidates must check the eligibility criteria and other instructions given in the official notification. Candidates have to exercise the KEE 2026 registration first, and post successful registration, they will be able to fill out the application form. Candidates should fill in only the correct details in the application form so that it will not be rejected. The admission authority will allow only such candidates to appear in KEE 2026 whose applications are correct and valid.

  • Step 1 - KEE Registration: In the first step, the candidates have to go to the official website and click on the registration link.
  • Step 2 - Filling of Application Form: Next, the candidates have to log in using their application number and password to fill out the application form.

KEE 2026 Online Proctored Exam Guidelines

Check important guidelines for the KEE remote proctored exam below:

  • Login credentials will be generated for all the candidates who submit the application 48 hours before the commencement of the entrance examination.
  • Login credentials along with the URL link of the online examination portal will be shared with the candidates 24 hrs before the examination slot through the registered e-mail. [Candidates are advised to check the SPAM folder also.]
  • Once the candidates receive the link, they can log in and attempt the practice (mock) test.
  • The entrance examination link available in the online examination portal shall open at 2:30 PM on the day of the examination and shall close at 3:30 PM.
  • If the candidate finishes the test before the stipulated time, he/she shall submit the answers and shall EXIT from the online portal.
  • Candidates are allowed only once to take the online entrance examination on any date mentioned on the official admissions page.
  • Candidates may ensure proper internet connectivity and bandwidth. In the event of any unforeseen interruption during the examination, the candidates need not panic as the examination platform is programmed to save the questions attempted before any abrupt shutdown. However, such candidates can re-login and continue the examination within the stipulated time.
