Admission to St. Michael College of Engineering and Technology through TNEA differs as there are different cutoffs for different courses and varying years. While the recent years' cut-off for B.E. /B.Tech courses such as Computer Science and Engineering was high, comparison cuts were relatively low for Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering courses.

The TS EAMCET cutoff for Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Science (SVITS, Mahabubnagar) is as follows:

  • Computer Science and Engineering : 14,000
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering : 45,000
  • Mechanical Engineering : 60,000
  • Civil Engineering : 65,000 

TS EAMCET cutoff is the minimum score required to pass the exam and get a rank. To pass, candidates must score at least 25% of the total marks.

You might already know that you have to carry your admit card to the FTII JET exam centre. You can take two copies just to be safe. Also, carry a government issued photo ID like your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Driver's License. And you can only take the test with a blue/ black ball point pen, so carry those.

There is no any specific syllabus for Duolingo English Exam. It is an adaptive test. DET assesses your listening, writing, speaking and reading skills. How much time will it take to prepare for exam depends on your current English proficiency level. To prepare from beginning you need at least 2 months.

Yes, you can take FTII JET in Hindi. The questions that appear on FTII JET papers are presented in both Hindi and English. Examinees can pick either one. The institutes strictly asks the students not switch between the two while taking the test. Once you've answered a question in Hindi, you have to attempt all the questions in Hindi.

The cutoff marks for TNEA are from 7,157 up to 26,444 which depends on the category and course¹. For example, the overall TNEA cutoff is between 7,157 and 26,444 for the Open Category. However, rounded off, Round 1 has a cutoff of 10,500; Round 2 is 8,9180; and, finally, Round 3 is 18,042. Other than this, the cutoff marks for TANCET are 6,085. Further note: These numbers may not represent the current scenario, as they are changeable. For updated information, check out the official website or contact the college administration.

Yes, you can use the Non-KEAM Spot Admission to gain admission to the B.Tech programme at LBS Institute of Technology for Women in Thiruvananthapuram without having KEAM:

No, candidates must take a printout of FTII JET admit card with a valid photo ID. Those who fail to do so will not be allowed to take FTII JET entrance test.
