EMAT question paper includes Multiple Choice Questions. A candidate's response sheet is evaluated by following below marking scheme:
- one mark is awarded for correct answers
- 0.5 marks are deducted for incorrect answers

No, MMK college of commerce and economics does not have any entrance based exam. The admissions in BCom course is given on the basis of marks obtained in class 12. Minimum eligibility criteria for admission must be fulfilled before making the application.

The cutoff was released as the opening and closing ranks for admission to the BE/BTech, courses. During the Indus University BE/BTech cutoff 2024, the last-round closing ranks ranged between 23100 and 50604 for the General HS category students. Of all the BE/BTech specialisations, the one that faced fierce competition was B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering. The first round cutoff rank for the same stood at 37596.
