The CET Cell will now conduct the MHT CET exam twice a year, similar to the JEE Mains exam. With this, the authorities aim to provide candidates another chance to improve their scores without wasting a year.

The MHT CET 2026 exam will be conducted in online mode as a computer-based test. Candidates have to select the correct answers on their computer screens. The exam will be held at various test centres across the state.

The duration of the MHT CET 2026 exam is 180 minutes for both the PCM and PCB groups. The papers 1 and 3, Maths & Biology, are for 90 minutes each, while paper 2, for Physics and Chemistry, is 90 minutes taken together.

No, Vellore Institute of Technology does not accept JEE Main scores for BTech admission. Candidates must register and appear for VITEEE exam.

No, admission to VIT Group of Institutions strictly requires qualifying VITEEE exam. Hence, it is mandatory to appear for VIT BTech exam and qualify for it.

No, 75% is not required for VITEEE. The minimum qualifying mark is 60% marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry. On the other hand, for SC/ST, Jammu and Ladakh and North-Eastern states, the minimum qualifying mark is 50%.
According to the subject requirement, 60% or 50% is calculated based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. PCB is required for Biotech/Bioengineering.

To apply for VIT exam, it is very important to meet the eligibility requirements, which are as follows-
Candidates date of birth must fall on or after July 1, 2004
Must have completed 10+2 or equivalent. Candidates appearing in final exam can also apply.
Must have a minimum 60% marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry
For SC/ST, Jammu and Ladakh and North-Eastern states, the minimum qualifying mark is 50%
