No, you don't necessarily have to give an entrance exam. There are colleges that also accept class 12th scores (for UG courses) and UG degree scores (for PG courses).
Students need to check the courses available by the college. They should also make sure the eligibility criteria is met. Understanding and following the admission process before enrolling is necessary.

No, GRE/GMAT scores are not a compulsory entry requirement for MS Course at University College Dublin but it could be added to strengthen the application. UCD only offers 1 MS Course to Indian students that is MS in Economics and Data Analytics. The compulsory entry requirements are-
• UG Degree (2:1 Hons. Degree/3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale/60-65%)
• English Proficiency (IELTS - 6.5, TOEFL- 90, PTE - 63, Duolingo – 120)
• GRE/GMAT (optional)

Yes, as per the JEE Main 2026 cutoff rank for CSE, it is possible to get a CSE seat at the University of Delhi with a cutoff rank of 41000. During Round 1 seat allotment, the maximum rank required for CSE admission was 81869 for the students belonging to the OBC category under the AI quota. So, 41000 is considered a safe score for securing admission at DU.

Yes, students with no UPCNET/NEET. There are many private colleges in Lucknow that offer admission on merit based only on 12th marks (no entrance exam required). And some colleges organise a simple entrance test or a personal interview for admission itself. Only for very good and popularly known government colleges like KGMU and SGPGIMS, entrance exam score is absolutely necessary.

Yes, personal interview round for MBA admission is mandatory for all candidates regardless of which exam they apply through. Candidates applying through CAT result for PP Savani University can only skip SLMET written test during MBA admission process.
Their final evaluation will be based on combined performance in personal interview round and entrance exam score.

Yes, Jaipur National University conducts JEST for scholarship and admission to various courses. The exam is computer based online test. The test comprises of 75 questions. Each question carries one mark. There is negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
