The eligibility criteria is very simple-

You must have completed or be in the final year of your higher secondary education or higher to take the exam i.e. complete 10+2 years of school education or undergraduate degree. Yes a sophomore can take the exam.

The Institute also accepts the score of TNEA which is Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission. The students need to qualify from any one of these exams. 

IFTM UNIVERSITY accept all type of state level and central level exam for admission in various branches like for  MBA it accepts MAT AND CAT, For B.Tech it's accepts Jee.

Different cources at this Institute have different eligibility criterias.Apart from TNEA you should have passed your 12 with 50 or 40 percent in some of the cases. If you are pursuing PG cources like MTech, You need to have a bachelor's degree on your specific feild from a recognised university. Students who have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) can apply for the B.Tech program. Lateral entry admission is also available for students who have completed a Diploma in a relevant branch.
