You calculate IELTS overall band score by taking average of all four sections. If you check the IELTS Band Score Chart, you see that scores ending in .25 or .75 round up to next number.

A good IELTS band score is usually 7.0 or higher for best colleges. The IELTS Band Score Chart says Band 6 is "Competent", but many students need more marks for visa approval and scholarship.

The IELTS score validity is exactly two years from your test date. You cannot use the IELTS TRF after this time because university won't accept old results. Please apply for admission quickly before it expire.

Yes, there will be negative marking in the PU CET (UG) 2026 exam. Students are advised to go through the PU CET (UG) 2026 exam pattern.

Students need to know that 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The PU CET (UG) 2026 marking scheme helps to identify good students who know the PU CET (UG) exam very well.

For the 2025 intake, the indicative benchmarks were CAT 85+ percentile, NMAT 220+, and XAT 85+ percentile. DBRAU JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BE courses. Yes, students can get admission to the DBRAU BE courses according to the JEE Main cutoff 2024 with a rank of 30000. The cutoff ranged from 327178 to 1341021 in the first and last round closing ranks. The hardest and the easiest courses for admission, according to the last round closing ranks were,  BE in Computer Science and Engineering and BE in Electrical Engineering, respectively.

Yes, it is compulsory to submit IELTS score along with other English language test score if student belong to other country than Dubai. They need to fulfill the basic English language proficiency score to study their program. The Heriot-Watt University IELTS score with PTE, and TOEFL minimum requirements is given below:

PU CET (UG) 2026 marking scheme consits of +2 marks for each correct answer, -0.25 for each wrong answer and 0 marks for unattempted questions. There will be 60 multiple-choice questions per subject with total 120 marks for each section and PU CET (UG) 2026 exam duration will be 4 hours 40 minutes across all sections.

The DBRAU JEE Main Cutoff 2024 was published for admission to various BE/BTech course specialisations for different categories under the Home State quota. The cutoff for the General HS category ranged from 520157 to 1341021, wherein B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest course for admission. In contrast, the easiest course was B.E. in Electrical Engineering
