Yes, applicants who pass the 12th standard exam with compartment will also be eligible to appear in the UPCATET exam. There are no passing percentage marks for the UPCATET exam. Candidates need to just pass the exam. But there are wise criteria which must be abided by. Students should be between 16 and less than 22 years of age on December 31, 2026. Applicants who fulfil both criteria need to fill UPCATET application form and appear in the exam. 

Altera Institute cutoff changes every year based on applicant quality and competition. The cutoff for 2025 intake was 85+ percentile in CAT, 220+ in NMAT and 85+ percentile in XAT.
