VITBEE is the entrance exam conducted by VIT for admission to its MBA program. VITBEE is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). There are 100 Multiple Choice Questions in VITBEE test. The test carries a total of 100 marks. The duration of VITBEE is 2 hours. Applicants may either take VITBEE 2026 or submit a valid CAT / XAT / MAT score for MBA admission at VIT.

Candidates must score good marks for clearing the UGC NET exam. For General Category the minimum qualifying mark is 40% and for reserved category it is 35%. In the June session 2025, the good score in History subject for the unreserved category was 162 for Asst. Professor and 180 for JRF.

VITBEE is the test conducted by VIT for admission to MBA programme offered by VIT Business School (VITBS). The last date to register for VITBEE 2026 is 12 April, 2026. VITBEE 2026 will be conducted on 3rd May 2026 at designated test centres.

Through the BITSAT slot booking, candidates can choose their preferred exam date and shift timings. Though not compulsory, candidates are advised to book their slots for BITSAT. It will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Moreover, if a candidate fails to book their slots, the authoritues will allot them a slot randomly.

The UGC NET exam consists of two papers namely Paper 1 and 2. Paper 1 is common for all the candidates which is based on teaching/research aptitude and Paper 2 is subject-specific and is based on the post graduate subject. In total 85 subjects are there namely history, geography, political science, etc.
