It is not mandatory to attempt all the questions in the SITEEE exam. Candidates can attempt any number of questions out of the total 60 questions in the exam. Each question in the SITEEE exam carries two marks. Therefore, for every correct answer, a candidate will get two marks. Here it is to be noted that there is no provision for negative marking, i.e., no marks will be deducted for the wrong answers. So, candidates can give it a try to get the answer. Questions for which the answer is not sure should not be left and can be tried at the examination centre.

Bihar Board class 10 exams are held in offline mode. The students need to write the exam in pen and paper mode. To write the BSEB matric exam, all the examinees are given two types of answer sheets. The first type of answer copy is an OMR sheet which is for multiple-choice questions. On the other hand, the students are also given blank answer sheets to write non-MCQs.
