NEET MDS stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery. It is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to postgraduate dental courses in India. The exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

The syllabus is based on the NCERT reduced curriculum adopted by the Gujarat Board for Class 12 Science stream. It covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology topics.

The GUJCET questions are presented in a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. Each question offers four options, out of which candidates must select and darken only one correct circle.

The GUJCET question paper comprises two sections. Paper I is either Mathematics or Biology, containing 40 questions. Paper II is a combined section of Physics and Chemistry, containing 80 questions.

Yes, negative marking is applicable in GUJCET. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. Darkening more than one option for a single question also results in negative marking.

The total duration of the GUJCET exam is 3 hours. The combined Physics and Chemistry paper is held for 120 minutes, while the Mathematics or Biology paper lasts 60 minutes.

Each correct multiple-choice question answer carries one mark in GUJCET. There is negative marking, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer or if multiple circles are darkened.

The NBE conducted the NEET MDS 2026 exam on May 2, 2026. The exam was held online from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

The examination fee for GUJCET is Rs. 350. This fee can be paid online via the SBIePay system using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
