The CBSE conducted the CTET exam for the February session or the 21st Edition exam on February 7 and 8 at various centres across the country. It was conducted in an offline mode in two shifts each day. Paper 2 was conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 pm and Paper 1 was held in the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

First candidate should understand pattern of an exam and syllabus. Analyze the previous year question papers and practice them. From this, candidates will come to know about the type of questions asked in the examination. Refer NCERT books, make a proper strategy for the preparation. Practice questions related to CDP. Give mock test online. Do frequent revision, etc.

In general, the CTET exam is considered of easy to moderate in difficulty level and with the focused preparation and conceptual clarity is manageable to prepare. Also the difficulty level of the paper depends upon the nature of the questions asked in the examination.

The duration of the CTET exam 2026 for both papers is 2.5 hours or 150 minutes. Both the papers of the CTET exam is conducted in an offline mode and there is no negative marking.

Subjects that candidate need to study for the CTET exam Paper 1 are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I usually Hindi or English, Language II, Mathematics, Environmental Studies. For Paper 2 apart from CDP, Language 1 and 2, Mathematics and Science or Social studies.

No, candidates cannot join the NLSIU directly; they have to appear for the CLAT entrance examination to be eligible for the course.

No, students have to appear for a (CLAT) Common Law Admission Test entrance examination to be eligible for admission at NLSIU. There is no direct admission.

Start with NCERT books for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for RUHS preparation. For practice, use objective MCQ books from well known publishers. Add chapter wise tests and previous years' papers to understand question styles.
