No, the National Aptitude Test for Architecture NATA is not necessary for an interior design course in India. NATA is an entrance examination for architecture courses, not for an interior design course. National Aptitude Test for Architecture Colleges offers architectural design in housing, regional, industrial, environmental, transport, landscape, and so on. However, if you want to do an interior design course, you have to write the CEPT, AIEED SEED UID, IIAD, NID, GD Goenka, Pearl Academy Entrance Exam, etc.

If you are specifically targeting European universities and educational institutions, IELTS is more widely accepted there. Conducted jointly by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council and IDP Education Australia, IELTS is considered slightly more difficult than TOEFL.

HI, there are many colleges which take admission without taking exams, but you need to specify which course you want. A college might take BBA student without exam but for B.Tech they might have an entrance exam.
