Students do not have to send a print out of VITEEE application form. Once form is submitted online, students do not have to submit it anywhere else. While filling form, students should be careful that it is submitted correctly.

After filling VITEEE application form, students should keep a print out of application form. Important documents used to fill application form also has to be kept so that it can be available if needed during counselling.

SRMJEEE cut off varies college wise and course wise. For example - In 2020 students who obtained marks above 250 had an expected rank range below 2000, while those who obtained marks between 230-250 had an expected rank range of 2001-5000 etc. Similarly marks reduced, their rankings to be reduced. Top ranked students received best college and course which they applied during their choice filling.

IIT Guwahati has released GATE 2026 cutoff mark on its official page. Candidates who have appeared exam, can check qualifying marks now. The GATE passing mark differs for each branch paper.

  • Number of candidates who appeared in exam
  • Difficulty level
  • Phases in which SRMJEEE exam was conducted

GATE counselling is done by CCMT and COAP to offer admission to MTech and research programmes. The mode of counselling is online. Stages of GATE counselling are as follows -

  • Candidate registration
  • Choice filling
  • Choice locking and fee payment
  • Seat acceptance and downloading the seat allotment letter
  • Reporting to the allotted institute for document verification

You can select your NIMCET exam centres while filling the NIMCET application form. These exam centres are going to be assigned based on your preference order and availability. Check your allotted exam centre on the NIMCET admit card.

The GATE counselling process starts after the announcement of results. The GATE counselling is conducted by COAP and CCMT. The COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) is the counselling portal that offers admission to IITs.

While CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan) is the counselling portal that offers admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs. 

COAP 2026 counselling registrations are ongoing. Round 1 counselling will begin on May 11.

The university does not conduct an entrance exam of its own; however, it does consider valid scores in the SAT or ACT for admission to undergraduate courses. 

Students seeking admission to STEM courses are required to have completed their secondary school studies in the relevant fields.
