  • Offers Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science.
  • At 77 percentile, non-CSE branches are realistic.

• Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT), Sultanpur

  • Known for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil.
  • CSE cutoff is higher, but core branches are accessible.

Other Government Colleges (Affiliated to AKTU)

• Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Lucknow – Top state college, but CSE/ECE cutoffs are higher than your percentile.
• Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET), Jhansi – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical possible.
• Rajkiya Engineering Colleges (REC) – Located in Azamgarh, Bijnor, Kannauj, Banda, Sonbhadra, etc.
  • These newer government colleges admit students with ranks up to 3–4 lakh.
  • Good chance for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and sometimes IT.

Yes, with a B.Sc. in Chemistry & Physics, you are eligible for M.Sc. Biochemistry at most Central Universities through CUET PG, provided you meet their subject requirements.

 Eligibility Criteria (Typical for Central Universities)

1. Academic Background

   • B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or allied sciences.

   • Your combination of Chemistry + Physics is acceptable, though preference is often given to students with Chemistry + Biology.

2. CUET PG Requirement

   • Admission is strictly through CUET PG Biochemistry paper.

   • Universities release their own cutoff lists after results.

3. University-Specific Rules

   • Banaras Hindu University (BHU): Requires B.Sc. with Chemistry as a subject (Physics/Math/Biology as second subject acceptable).

   • Central University of Kerala / Pondicherry / Hyderabad: Accept B.Sc. graduates in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or allied sciences.

   • Delhi University (DU): Usually requires Chemistry + Biology background, but Physics + Chemistry students may be considered if Biochemistry was part of coursework.
