For admission to the MBA course at Amity University, Hyderabad, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course are merit-based, and PI. Candidates are selected based on PI. Students securing more than 80% aggregate in Class 12 (CBSE/ISC 2023/2024) will be selected based on their application form and do not need to appear for the P.I (Not applicable for Architecture/ Design/Education/Fashion/Fine Arts/Law and Physical Education programmes).

It is not mandatory to give entrance exams for admission to Fashion Designing courses after completing 12th. There are more than 1,000 institutes that give admission on the basis of Class 12 scores and take additional rounds like skill assessment or portfolio submission to test the capabilities of the applicants. Having said that, top colleges like the NIFTs or NIDs require valid exam scores for admission.
It is better to give a few entrance exams to keep your backup options available in case you cannot make it to the Class 12 merit cutoff lists. Best of luck!

XAT cut off different for male and female candidates to promote diversity in the candidate pool. However, the difference in cut offs is not too big. There's usually a difference of 1 or 2 percentile between XAT cut offs for male candidate and female candidate. Infact, the difference is not limited to gender only. The XAT cut offs for engineering students and non-engineering students are also different.
