Faculty of Law, AMU is one of the recognised university for carrying out LL.M. The college has a strong faculty with around 20-25 professors and a student-teacher ratio of 10:1. The LL.M programme is a two-year course whose cost is around INR 50,000 to INR 70,000. The college has a reasonable placement record with about 50-60% students placed every year in different organizations. The average salary package that firms offer to the LL.M students is between 4 Lacs and 6 Lacs INR per year. The college also offers research activity and publication services where faculty members produce approximately 10-15 research papers each year.

The fee structure for the B.A. LL.B. at the Faculty of Law is about INR 1,28,000 for the first year while for the rest of the years it is INR 1,18,000 per year. The total fees for this five years training is approximately INR 6,42,000. Further, there are some charges students have to bear including one-time admission fee of Twenty Thousand Indian Rupees, caution money deposit of Five thousand Indian rupees and examination fee of approximately three and half thousand Indian rupees per semester. Hostel fees vary between INR 50000 to INR 70000 depending on the type of accommodation offered in a year.

A concise placements report is not available as of now for BA LLB placed students. However, as per the Calcutta University NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to UG (five-year) students stood at INR 7.84 LPA. Moreover, out of 119 students, 95 were placed.
