The recently updated cutoff for B.A. LL. The three-year B programme at the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, on the other hand, requires general candidates to obtain at least 45 per cent marks from the best four subjects from the Class 12 board exam (like CBSE, ICSE). The cutoff is 40% for SC/ST and person with Disabilities. The selection process is based on the Common Admission Test and you might want to see if there are any updates or changes in the university's site as cut-offs differ every year.

Yes, the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University is a decent option for B.A. LL.B. Considered one of the oldest and best law colleges in India, it was established in 1909. It provides a good program, knowledgeable instructors, and many extra activities. So many successful lawyers and judges have graduated from this institution. Faculty of Law, AMU is one of the recognised university for carrying out LL.M. The college has a strong faculty with around 20-25 professors and a student-teacher ratio of 10:1. The LL.M programme is a two-year course whose cost is around INR 50,000 to INR 70,000. The college has a reasonable placement record with about 50-60% students placed every year in different organizations. The average salary package that firms offer to the LL.M students is between 4 Lacs and 6 Lacs INR per year. The college also offers research activity and publication services where faculty members produce approximately 10-15 research papers each year.

Getting the latest cutoff information about LL.B admission at Faculty of Law, MGKVP is something very different depending on the category of the candidate. For the 2023 cutoff, the unreserved category had the cutoff at 304 and EWS category at 288. B.A. LL.B. offered by the Faculty of Law at Calcutta University maintains average placement records among the students. As per the information obtained from students various law firms come to the campus for recruitment and offer package of INR 15000 to 20000 per month. The college also offers internships with pays of approximately INR 2000 per month. Though the placement cell is not fully functional students have found placements in various government and private sectors . The university overall they provide 120 seats for B.A. LL.B. program, the candidate selection will be through Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG).
