Fashion Design

If you already have done and successfully completed any under-graduate (UG) degree course from any recognised Indian Institute or University (recognised by Indian law), then you may apply & take admission for a master course in Fashion Designing in any subject/field/specialisation as per your preference in best fashion institutes of India such as NIFT. You may not be able to apply for a UG degree or Diploma (especially in a good institute) because it may have a maximum age criteria. And if you don't have any UG degree, then first get one. Look for any distant UG degree or open UG degree from any recognised university or institute. After that, think about Diploma or degree in fashion designing.

The NIFT-Delhi offers the only one year Diploma programme in Craft Design Development & Planning. The eligibility criteria for this programme is 10+2 and Diploma/ Graduate. Further NIFT Delhi offers the following one year of duration continuing education programs as Garment Design Technology (GDT), Graphic Design and Communication (GDC), Fashion Retail Management (FRM), Garment Export Merchandising Management (GEMM), Creative Thinking & Design Development (CTDD), Design in Boutique Apparel & Accessory (DBAA), Fashion Integration for Apparel Industry (FIAI), Fashion & Clothing Technology (FCT), Luxury Product Design (LPD), Fashion Fabrics for Creative Enterprises (FFCE), Fashion E-Business Management (FEM), Fashion Enterprise & Business Management (FEBM), Conspectus of Fashion Management (CFM), Design Development for Indian Ethnic Wear (DDIEW), Clothing Production Technology (CPT) and Interior Design & Exhibition (IDE).
