Every candidate has to sit for entrance examination which is conducted by NIFT institute every year. Entrance examination is conducted just to check out the knowledge, aptitude and skill of candidates towards the programme opted by them. Admission is done purely on the basis of entrance written examination, Group Discussion round followed by Personal discussion round.

Hi Himani, after 10th you can do Diploma in fashion designing where you will only learn basis of fashion designing. I would suggest to become a fashion designer. You must complete 10+2 and enroll for graduation course in fashion designing to become a fashion designer.

You might want to reappear for the CEED as a major chunk of admissions is done through the CEED. Master of Design (M.Des):
Admission Process:
The process of admission to Master of Design is through an entrance examination. This is known as Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED), it is conducted by IIT Mumbai every year. The test is designed to test the skills of the candidate like, colour sensitiveness, structure, perception, innovation and aptitude towards the discipline. Hi,
You can choose Diploma in apparel designing. It would be a one year course or if you want to study more then you can go for B.Sc in apparel designing, it would be three years course.

If you have passed HSC/ three-year Diploma/ Diploma in Textile Technology or equivalent from a recognized body of education, you can certainly apply for B.Sc course in Fashion Design.

Everything is possible with hardwork and dedication, and if you are passionate about fashion designing, then go for it. But, CA being a tough course, you would have to manage your time accordingly and would have to reduce your social life in order to divert your time towards career. So, choose wisely.
