It's not necessary but you have to work hard and study on your own. Here are a few tips-
CAT is the most important part of the question paper. Start sketching and develop your own style of sketching and coloring. I cannot stress this enough. Good drawing skills are very important. How you present/draw your ideas is just as important as the idea itself.Keep reading the newspaper (especially around November-December) it'll help you in GK part of GAT and help you generate better ideas. Most questions in CAT are related to current scenarios. For example- Make in India was started in late 2014 and in the 2015 entrances hey had asked the stud

Both fashion designing and interior designing have equal scope. In the near future, the demand of interior designers and fashion designers in India will increase by 18-20 percent and talking about the salary, it can be 2,50,000/- INR TO 12,00,000/- INR and above depending upon your work experience and PR with architects, builders, and other businessmen and clients and customers.
Interior designing is something which will provide you an opportunity to connect with the world, because there can be a lot of travelling, for a beginning, and later you can create your own setup when you get a good exposure in market.

It will be difficult to get in top fashion designing colleges. You need to check with respective colleges for admissions.
You can also try for national institute of design entrance exam. A good score may enhance your chances.

Apply for designing course in LPU. The university offers scholarships to students on various parameters thus, will solve your issue of finances.
Also the university is reputed for good placements.
