You can pursue a post-graduation Diploma in fashion designing since you already are pursuing graduation. A graduate in any disciple from a recognised college/institute can apply for a PG Diploma in Fashion in the following colleges:
1. Apeejay Institute of Design
2. Pearl Academy Of Fashion
3. NIFT
4. School Of Fashion Technology
5. MIT Institute of Design.

Hi Kranthi,
No, you don't need to apply separately. NIFT conducts a single exam on the national level. You can select the exam centre close to your location while applying for the exam and also give your preference for the institute you want to take admission in. Rest, NIFT will decide according to the rank you secure in the exam. You will get a seat according to the seat availability in these institutes and your rank in NIFT exam.

The admission process of leather designing involves an entrance test that comprises of a written test to examine the candidate's knowledge and skill for the programme chosen. Once you have cleared the exam you will have to go through a situation test, group discussion and a personal interview. However, this may vary from institute to institute.
