Yes, it is one of the booming industry in India. India is also the hub for textiles. Candidates who have completed higher secondary course in any stream from a recognized board of examination are eligible to apply for Bachelor level programs. There is no minimum mark required in qualifying examination for being eligible.
Those who are more than 23 years of age at the time of application are not eligible to apply. Eligible candidates will be short listed for general ability test. Following are the tips and tricks to crack NIFT or any of the design college entrance exams:
1. It hardly matters, if your sketching skills are average, the questions are framed to judge a candidate's creativity, imagination, visualization skills, general awareness, etc. So, developing these skills are equally important.
2. Focus over your creativity during your exam preparations.
3. With the creativity, speed equally matters. If you are creative, but unable to cope up with the time limit, you will miss the questions. So, it is better to practice keeping in mind the speed and accuracy.
