However, NIFT-Delhi and Pearl Academy-Delhi are the top institutes for fashion designing.

There are a few institutes which offer fashion designing course after class 10th, but there is not much value for the same in the industry. It would be better if you complete your class 12th first and then appear for entrance tests conducted by NID or NIFT to have a good career ahead.

Yes, after completing B.Sc in botany, you can appear for the entrance exam to get into fashion designing. The best institutes to get into are NID and NIFT.

It's not necessary but you have to work hard and study on your own. Here are a few tips-
CAT is the most important part of the question paper. Start sketching and develop your own style of sketching and coloring. I cannot stress this enough. Good drawing skills are very important. How you present/draw your ideas is just as important as the idea itself.Keep reading the newspaper (especially around November-December) it'll help you in GK part of GAT and help you generate better ideas. NIFT is one of the best colleges in India which offers a degree in fashion designing. It is also recognized around the world and offers great exposure. As it is a government college the fees aren't unreasonable. Look up both the college and see what you prefer.
