Test results from the SAT and ACT are not necessary for admission. They are optional for the Presidential Scholars (Honours) Programme for the 2021 Admissions cycle. SAT and ACT test results, if provided, will be utilised to determine a student's placement in English and math subjects at FIT. You must take the SAT or ACT verbal exam, including the essay exam, to be placed in English classes. When transmitting SAT or ACT scores to FIT, use code 2257 or 2744, respectively. Before enrolling in any English, Math, or Science courses, international students who have not already passed the SAT or ACT must take placement tests.

The Fashion Institute of Technology is fairly selective with an acceptance rate of 55%. The Fashion Institute of Technology's admissions representatives view a student's GPA as a crucial academic factor. Candidates are assessed using their class rank, college grades, prerequisite courses, and a student essay. Strong B average applicants are typically taken into consideration. A portfolio is required of applicants to programmes in art and design. There is no need for referral letters.

As of my last update in September 2021, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) has one main campus located in the heart of Manhattan, New York City. This campus serves as the central hub for all of FIT's academic programs and activities. It offers state-of-the-art facilities, studios, classrooms, and resources tailored to the needs of its students pursuing fashion and design education. It's important to verify with FIT's official website for any updates or changes regarding campuses or locations.
