Minimum Eligibility Criteria for admission in FTII:
The students need to have a graduation in the respective specialisation or equivalent from a recognised University. Admission Process of FTII:
1- The result is announced on the basis of the written examination and auditions.
2- The result is announced for the Students who cleared the written examination. These students then go through orientation and PI. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of first and second result lists each carrying 50 percent weightage subject to qualifying on a medical test. Application Process

It is difficult but not impossible. FTII selects students from all over India for its various courses by the toughest entrance exam. The number of students trying to join there is near 5000. So FTII entrance exam is considered one of the toughest exams in India.
