There are some universities which conduct entrance exam for admission in B.Sc food technology such as Panjab Agricultural University, etc. So you need to apply for that to get admission in B.Sc food technology.

If the placement in core sector is considered, LIT Nagpur has very good placement records. You could check placement records in LIT website. Mostly students belonging to chemical engineering get placed (50%-60%). .
