CSU Fresno Dean's Scholarship Tuition Fee Waiver is offered to international students. The value of this scholarship vary. It can range around USD 1,250 - USD 3,750 per student. International students can apply for the scholarship of this university by filling out the university specific scholarship form.

Indian students at CSU Fresno can work part time. They can work up to 20 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters. During the breaks students can work up to 40 hours. In California, the minimum wage for part time on campus jobs is around USD 16.50 per hour (Around INR 1.5k).

Yes, Indian students can pay their fees in installments at Fresno State. The university offers an Installment Payment Plan that allows tuition costs to be spread into multiple installments (usually 3) over the semester.

Follow the steps below to set up a payment plan:

  • Log in to myFresnoState
  • Go to Student Self Service icon
  • Go to Student Center
  • Click on My Finances and proceed to Other Financials drop down menu
  • Select Enroll in Payment Plan
  • Complete the process
  • Go to View My Account to see whether enrolment in the plan was successful.

Indian students can pay their fees by logging into their My Fresno State Student Portal. Go to Make a Payment section and choose International Payment option. The simplest method is to pay by Convera.

Due date to pay the tuition fee for Indian students vary by the term and registration date.

Students can register for classes via MyFresnoState portal.  Register on the same prior to the start of the semester and ensure all dues are cleared.

Follow the steps below, to register for a course at Fresno State Uni:

  • Log in to My Fresno State
  • Search for classes and select the semester/term
  • Use the subject, course number to find specific courses
  • Add courses to the enrolment cart
  • Proceed to enroll and complete the process

Failing or getting a low grade (like a D or F) at Fresno State directly impacts a student's GPA and can lead to loss of financial aid or academic probation. Students are allowed to retake the course and improve their grade in the same.

A GPA of 2.0 is usually considered the bare minimum that students need to study at Fresno State. Falling below this GPA can lead to an Academic Notice/Warning.
