The FTII JET counselling will start after the results are declared. FTII will release the counselling schedule on its official website for all courses and students will have to appear in the counselling process. During the counselling process, they will have to bring all their original documents as per their educational qualifications.

During the counselling session of the Film and Television Institute of India, candidates will have to carry all their original certificates and semester-wise mark sheets. Candidates must also ensure that they don't submit any of their original documents to anyone, these documents are just for verification purpose.

No, the Film and Television Institute of India will conduct the JET counseling session in person. Candidates will have to appear in person for the counseling round. During the counselling process, candidates will have to carry all their original documents as per their educational qualification and identity proofs.

There is a cut off which is defined after the exam is conducted. The FTII JET cut off is defined based on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, total number of applicants who appeared in the exam and the shifts under which the exam is conducted. Candidates who score equal to or more than the FTII JET cut off will qualify in the exam. As far as the minimum passing marks of FTII JET varies, the minimum final cut-off marks to qualify for admission in FTII for General Category is 50% for General category while that for OBC NCL category is 45%.

The Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) admit card consists of details of the candidate such as their name, date of birth, roll number, exam centre details, exam timings and exam day guidlines. Apart from these, the admit card of FTII JET also consists of scanned photograph and signature of candidates along with the dos and donts to be followed at the exam centre.

In the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) there are two papers - Paer 1 and 2. The paper 1 has two parts A & B, each consist of Muitlple Choice Questions (MCQ-type) while the paper 2 has descriptive questions where candidates will have to answer in short notes, they will ahve to describe certain sketches and photographs as mentioned in the question paper. Some of the questions from paper 1 for the direction and screenplay course are mentioned here to give candidates an idea -

It is a bit tough to crack the FTII JET exam because FTII is the premier film making school in India and aspirants from all over India apply for this coveted exam making the competition a bit tough. To pass through the competition candidates will have to make a proper exam strategy and allot equal time to covering the whole syllabus, solving the question papers and leave good time for revision. In the FTII JET exam students will be judged on their intellectual skills, general studies, English, general knowledge and the prescribed syllabus.

As per the official notification date of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) the syllabus consists of topics such as Art & craft of Film & TV, Allied Arts, Literature, General Awareness, Environmental Awareness, General Knowledge related to Art & Culture and Media etc. Candidates preparing for the FTII JET exam need to start their preparation in advance and cover the these topics before the exam is scheduled.

To fill the application form of the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) examination. Candidates must be minimum 21 years of age. The minimum educational qualification required for candidates to apply for the FTII JET examination is graudation in any discipline. However, for candidates who want to apply for Art Direction and Production Design course they will have to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts, Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, Interior Design or related fields in Fine Arts.
