The minimum passing marks for the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test varies, however, the minimum final cut-off marks to qualify for admission in FTII are: i) 50% for General category. ii) 45% for OBC NCL category. iii) 40% for SC/ST category.

Candidates who qualify in the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test will be called for the orientation and interview process or audition round (for screen acting). Candidates will be shortlisted for the second round based on the scores secured in the entrance test. After that the final result will be released. Once the results are declared, candidates will be then alloted the course as per their interest and ranks.

The FTII JET admit card 2025 is available to download from the official website of FTII JET. Candidates who successfully filled the application form can download the hall ticket at applyadmission.net/ftii2025/. Candidates have to use their login credentials - online application number, date of birth and email Id to download the FTII JET admit card 20245 The FTII JET 2025 exam will be conducted on July 27, 2025.

The Paper-I of all the eligible appeared candidates is evaluated. On the basis of the performance in Paper-I, Paper-II (JET exam) is evaluated of only selected number of top scoring candidates (based on the respective category). The roll numbers of the candidates shortlisted for the evaluation of Paper-II, will be published on the website of JET. Further the shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview and orientation process.

The Film and Television of Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) is conducted in offline i.e. pen and paper mode. The question and answer booklet will be distributed to the candidate at least 10 minutes before the commencement of exam. The question paper will be MCQ-based and candidates will have to mark the correct option in the answer booklet.

To apply for the Film and Television of Institute of India Joint Entrance Test (FTII JET) candidates had to first visit the official website of FTII or SRFTI (Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute). The Film and Television Institute of India Joint Enrance Test (FTII JET) application process started on February 18, 2024 and closed on March 17, 2024. The FTII JET registration process lasted for about two months. Candidates who met the minimum eligibility criteria had to register in online mode to appear for FTII JET 2024. The FTII JET exam was conducted in offline mode on April 6 and 7, 2024.

As per the official notification, for all the five courses, the duration of FTII JET exam is 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours. The details of the centre, date and time of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card provided to the candidates who have successfully registered for the examination.
