The FTII JET Admit Card 2026 will be released a week before the exam date. Film and Television Institute of India will release hall ticket on its official website. Once released, candidates can download hall ticket by entering any of the two fields from - online application number, date of birth and email ID.

The Film and Television Insititute of India only offers full-time courses. So, candidates pursuing any other course or working on a job cannot study part-time at FTII. Such students will have to withdraw admission or resign and submit their withdrawl/resignation certificates and any other required documents during document verification phase of the admission process.

The FTII JET 2024 results became available on July 29, 2024. Candidates who took the exam on April 6 and 7, 2024 can find their qualification status by visiting the official website. Candidates can find their results in PDF format through the official website while also having the option to download their scorecards as reference documents. The admission exams provided entry to Direction & Screenplay Writing as well as Editing and Cinematography and Sound Recording & Sound Design postgraduate programs.

Yes, graduates from any stream and discipline can apply for FTII JET given that they are 21 years of age or above.

You might already know that you have to carry your admit card to the FTII JET exam centre. You can take two copies just to be safe. Also, carry a government issued photo ID like your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Driver's License. And you can only take the test with a blue/ black ball point pen, so carry those.

Yes, you can take FTII JET in Hindi. The questions that appear on FTII JET papers are presented in both Hindi and English. Examinees can pick either one. The institutes strictly asks the students not switch between the two while taking the test. Once you've answered a question in Hindi, you have to attempt all the questions in Hindi.

There is no word limit for the answers of descriptive and subjective questions on FTII JET test paper. However, the paper has empty line space in which examinees have to write their answers. Also, while some descriptive questions are mandatory to attempt, some have choices. Examinees can pick and choose questions that they want to answer.

No, candidates must take a printout of FTII JET admit card with a valid photo ID. Those who fail to do so will not be allowed to take FTII JET entrance test.

FTII JET is conducted by the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. The test paper for this annual entrance examination can be set by either of these institutes.
