There is no word limit for the answers of descriptive and subjective questions on FTII JET test paper. However, the paper has empty line space in which examinees have to write their answers. Also, while some descriptive questions are mandatory to attempt, some have choices. Examinees can pick and choose questions that they want to answer.

No, candidates must take a printout of FTII JET admit card with a valid photo ID. Those who fail to do so will not be allowed to take FTII JET entrance test.

FTII JET is conducted by the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. The test paper for this annual entrance examination can be set by either of these institutes.

As per the official notification, candidates seeking admission into FTII, Pune and SRFTI, Kolkata will have to go through the following process:
Step 1: JET Entrance Exam
The first step is the FTII JET exam for which candidates will have to appear in it after receiving their admit cards and qualify it. The written test will be conducted for 2 papers and the time duration will be of three hours. The test will be conducted in offline (pen and paper test) mode. The question paper will be into two parts – MCQ (multiple-choice questions) and Descriptive.
