Freeze option means that candidate accepts the offered seat and don't want to participate in further rounds of seat allocation.
Float option means that candidate accepts the offered seat but if they are offered admission to a course of higher preference in same or other Institute, they will accept it. Else, the candidate will continue with currently accepted FTII course.

As per the admission process of JET exam, candidates first need to quaify in teh FTII JETe exam and subsequent rounds of the Orientation / Interview process. On the basis of performance in JET, the list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the Institute. The institute will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. Students final selection will be based on their JET scores, and performance in the orientation & interviews rounds. Yes, after qualifying in the exam as per the FTII JET result. Ccandidate's will be called for a Personal Interview and there they will also have to give an audition. Students final selection into the FTII JET acting course will be based on their performance in the entrance exam marks, interview and audition. Hence audition plays an important role in their selection.

FTII scorecards are only valid until the admissions for the same academic year are finalised. Potential students may be asked to produce their FTII JET scorecards during counselling and document verification process preceeding the final allotment of seats to the students' chosen programmes.
