From what I've experienced at Galgotias University, the academic environment is fairly active and structured. Classes cover the regular syllabus, but there are also labs, projects, seminars and other activities that make learning more practical. Faculty interaction can be helpful when you take the initiative to ask questions and get guidance. Overall, there's a good mix of academics and practical learning.

Galgotias is fairly reasonable compared to many private universities, especially if you look at the exposure you get along with the degree. For B.Tech CSE, the current tuition is ₹1.64 lakh/year, plus the annual exam fee and other small charges. Tbh, it's not exactly cheap, but considering the NCR location, technical activities, internships and placement opportunities, the overall cost can be worth it if you actively use the opportunities.

Moving between different academic blocks at Galgotias University is generally manageable, as the major academic areas are within the campus. During back-to-back classes, students may need to walk quickly when lectures or labs are scheduled in different blocks, especially during busy hours. After spending a few days on campus and becoming familiar with the buildings and routes, navigating between classes usually becomes part of the normal routine.

If you are choosing between Galgotias University and Chandigarh University for B.Tech/BE in CSE, Galgotias can be a good choice, especially for students looking for a practical and industry-oriented learning environment. The university offers various technical activities, projects, clubs, and opportunities to develop coding and communication skills. Its location in Greater Noida also gives students access to the wider NCR region and its growing technology ecosystem.

Galgotias University has decent placement opportunities for B.Tech/CSE, but the actual package can vary a lot depending on the student, skills and batch. If you're comparing it with LPU, LPU reports around ₹10.23 LPA average salary for its top 25% placed students and has a large recruiter base. So, instead of looking only at the highest package, I'd compare the realistic average, placement opportunities and industry exposure before choosing.
