It's bit difficult to do preparation with job. however many people did it with job, what actually required is that your continuous effort. you may join some test series to be active. Bring last ten year question papers and go for your strongest subjects first then cover other one by one.

Take admission in PG diploma and start preparing for GATE. As in chemical engineering very less rush in GATE so you have a great chance to get IITs in next year. All the best

First take admission in b.tech. In first year you have only mathematics which is mainly relevant to GATE so do start preparing it. your college may have some computer course in first year, so also prepare it. You may visit my recent activity to get more about gate preparation.

Yes it is good. Now focus on you BSc and try to qualify GATE.You also get admission in IITs on the basis of GATE in m.tech or m.sc. It is a good idea. All the best.

I think you are eligible if your degree is recognized by UGC and AICET. As AMIE which is a corresponding degree from institute of entertainment India.

just qualify is enough to get scholarship from mhrd however admission depends upon colleges, your branches, your choice of preference. As same gate score has different meaning and weightage for different branch.

you may download lots of videos in YouTube for gate preparation.
you also can download NPTEL videos and PDF Lecture. At last you can join some test series.
First step to fixed your mind that you are doing preparation for a score card. Set first target to qualify and then set one by one the new ranks.
Second steps to download the GATE syllabus.
third one is to decide your favorite portion.
Forth one is bring ten years question Bank and start solving it and clear your doubt by approaching the text book your teachers or friends.

I think you didn't qualified this year and I am sorry for it. GATe is not a tough exam to qualify but hard to get good ranks. It demands continuous practice and nice approach. So download the syllabus choose you strong subjects and solved last ten years papers. If you have passion to do the preparation then go for it.
