Anna University usually declares the results of GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology semester exams about 3-4 months following the conclusion of the exams. For example, results for November/December 2024 were published in April 2025. Then, the April/May 2025 results will be reported in August 2025. The official Anna University Controller of Examinations website and GCT's result portal should be checked by students.

The TNEA counseling is conducted by Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology. The result date for this is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024, and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process was started on 7th May, and the ranks were allotted on 27th June.

The faculty is very well respected at GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology. Most tutors have doctoral degrees and a lot of experience, giving you friendly, clear and easy-to-understand lessons. Students note that their eagerness to help them understand subjects and excel at school. Sometimes, it is pointed out that some teachers lack consistency or the right approach, but most believe the teaching staff is both skilled and dedicated.

On or before June 6, 2025, go to tneaonline.org and use TNEA 2025 counselling to start your application for B.E./B.Tech. You need to go through the form filling, fee payment, document upload and participating in online counselling sessions depending on your 10+2 marks. You can directly apply under the Management Quota through GCT's website (gct.org.in) and upload your academic information to get directly accepted.

The required documents during the B.E. / B.Tech application process at GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology include:-

1. Class 10 & 12 Marksheets

2. Allotment letter for TNEA Counseling. 

3. Proof of Identity:- A government-issued ID as an Aadhar card, voter ID, or passport.

4. Caste Certificate (if applicable): A Valid caste certificate application for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) has to be provided. 

5. Domicile Certificate.

6. Passport size Pictures:- Generally, 2-4 recent passport-sized images are needed to fulfill the application form.

Admission to the GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology can be moderately competitive. The college offers only BTech, MBA, MCA, and MTech courses. Admission to all these courses is done based on the scores obtained in entrance exams such as TANCET exam for MBA and GATE for MTech. To be eligible for these exams, the candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks in the previous qualification in a relevant stream.

It is possible to get direct admission to GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology using the Management Quota. Ensure you have completed your 10+2 schooling with the necessary percentage in Science (PCM). Go to the website for the college to begin your application. Your 10+2 marks are used for selection and JEE Main scores are also taken into account. Most of the time, management quota seats cost more than those assigned through TNEA counselling. The admission office at the college has all the complete details, so talk to them for proper guidance.

Admission to the BTech, MBA/ MCA, MTech courses is mainly based on the rank obtained in TNEA counseling, TANCET exam, and GATE exam. To be eligible for the course, candidates need to have a minimum of 45% in previous qualifications in a relevant stream from any recognised institute. Although registrations for these exams are closed now, the applications for admission under the management quota are currently open.
