The counselling dates will be announced soon . The counselling for all SC, ST, Divyang and Scholarship candidates will be conducted first. For rest of the applicants, counselling was conducted later.The admission authority of GITAM University organises the counselling. The counselling is organised by the university for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Architecture, Basic Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical, and Physiotherapy. All the candidates who quality in GAT PGT 2024 will be called for counselling.

The GAT PGT result will be announced online. Candidates can check their results using their user ID/registration and password. Selected candidates will be able to download allotment letter to attend GAT PGT counselling.

 If the candidates find any error on the admit  card, candidates can contact the helpline services. The important details printed on the admit card is

  • Name of the candidate
  • Roll number of the candidate
  • Registration number
  • Date of birth
  • Date of the exam
  • Exam venue and address
  • Instructions for exam day

Candidates can carry anyone of the following document along with the admit card - Passport / Driving License / EC voter ID card / IT PAN card / School or College photo bearing ID card / Aadhar Card. The admit card is a mandatory document to be taken to the exam centre.

GAT PGT admit card is available in online mode only. The admit card will not be send by post, it will be available only on the official website. The candidates can enter the login credentials and download the admit card.

The GAT PGT admit card is available a few days before exam date. Candidates can download their hall ticket using their user ID and password from GAT PGT official website.

Candidates preparing for GAT PGT, conducted by GITAM University, must be aware of the GAT PGT exam pattern and syllabus. Begin with notes and textbooks first. Then make short notes that you find is important. Once you have completed one chapter, attempt mock test to analyse where you stand.

The maximum mark of GAT PGT is 200. Each correct answer carry 2 marks and there is negative marking of one mark for each incorrect response.

A total of 100 questions are asked in GAT PGT exam. Candidates can check section-wise distribution of marks below -

  • Quantitative aptitude - 40 questions
  • Reasoning and verbal ability - 25 questions 
  • English - 10 questions

Total time to attempt GAT PGT questions is two hours.
