There is no denying difficulty of GNM courses. There is a lot of stuff to learn, tests are challenging, timetables are complicated, and homework keeps coming. All of these elements could make life difficult for you as a student. nursing field is quite competitive from time you begin application process until you graduate.
A lot of information and work is required for Nursing school. New issues present fresh opportunities for learning. Once you begin Nursing college, going to doctor, viewing medical documentaries, and considering what to look for on a prescription label will all take on entirely new meanings.

This GNM is available for candidates who have a wish to work in medical field. candidates who are willing to work as a nurse, midwife, or any assistant related to welfare of society must be engaged in a similar work, or else candidates must join this course. Yes but first you need to enrol with nursing council of specific state where you intend to practice.
Right now there's ongoing registration with Indian Nursing Council which will allow nurses to practice in any state without requirement of being registered with each state's nursing council.
Hopefully, this will become operational and effective shortly.

First and foremost, any person holding a degree or diploma in Nursing, normally a course of at least three years duration, comes under the category of a staff nurse and is known as GNM. In other words, a staff nurse, or GNM, performs certain tasks as instructed by the doctors, like conducting deliveries and assisting in several other medical procedures.
ANM, however, though related to nursing, is different. Those who finish the almost-two-year course in ANM are not considered staff nurses because their scope of practice is much different; it largely involves fieldwork.
