The eligibility criteria for GNM Nursing courses in India is to pass the higher secondary exam (10+2) with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The duration of GNM Nursing courses is 3 years and 6 months, including a 6-month mandatory internship period.
It is likely that you would be eligible for admission to a GNM Nursing program at Metro College of Nursing or any other institution in India, assuming the college’s admission criteria align with the general guidelines.

Yes, candidates can pursue an MSc Nursing after completing a GNM course. Many universities and institutions in India offer MSc Nursing courses to candidates who have a GNM qualification, provided they also have a few years of clinical experience, usually two years, as a registered nurse or midwife.
The MSc Nursing programme allows GNM graduates to specialize in areas like medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, and more. MSc Nursing can open up opportunities for leadership roles, teaching positions, and specialised clinical practice.

Several factors, like as the volume of applications, general exam performance, and institutional policies, can affect the most recent cutoff information for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) at Babe Ke Institute of Nursing each year. For GNM programs, the applicant's academic credentials and results on the admission exam often determine the cutoff scores. The qualifying examination scores, which include higher secondary education (12th grade), are usually between 50% and 60% for GNM admissions at Babe Ke Institute of Nursing. This can change depending on the year and the level of competition.
