Yes, you can. Many GNM colleges in India offer GNM courses in Hindi medium. Since GNM is a midwifery diploma-level course and is designed to meet the growing demand of Nurses in India, GNM can easily be pursued by the underserved community. A GNM is not a doctor. GNM is a diploma-level course that prepares you to be a Nurse or a Midwife. Nurses and Midwives assist senior doctors in treatments and procedures done on patients. Though GNMs work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals, they are not qualified and trained to diagnose illness, prescribe medicine, or perform any surgical treatment.

Of course you can. GNM is a diploma-level course that can be pursued after Class 12. In fact, many GNM colleges do not even require applicants to have a Science background in Class 12. You just need to pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised institution, and you can apply for the GNM course.

After a GNM course, you can explore several job options like a GNM Nurse, Midwife, Home Nurse, Travel Nurse, etc. As a fresher, you can expect a salary of INR 2.3 LPA in India, and with some years of experience, the package will get higher.
The starting salary of a GNM Nurse also depends on the employer. Many companies like Archean Chemical Industries, Asian Vivekanand Super Specialty Hospital, Maa Janki Hospital & Research Centre, etc., offer INR 5 - 8 LPA.
