Since the college is affiliated to Anna University and the college is government managed therefore the college is very affordable and pocket friendly. For a student to complete the course of 4 years, the approximate budget should be around INR 1 lakh since the fees vary from INR 20,000 to 22,000. For mess, it takes around INR 2 to 3 thousand per month. The hostel fee is around INR 6,000 per year. With 4years hostel, one can complete their education in less than INR 2 lakh. Scholarships and Loans are also provided for the students who are unable to afford the fees hence it becomes easier for the students to pursue the course.

The Government college of Technology offers various courses at UG and PG level for the engineering students. The various courses offered by the college are B.Tech in Civil engineering, artificial intelligence, mechencial, electrical etc. The college iffers decent placements in the various courses varying from INR 6LPA to INR 13 LPA. The package varies from courses to courses. In the course of CSE, the highest placement package offered was INR 17 LPA for the last year placement batch. The average package varies from INR 7 to 8 LPA. Major companies such as KPMG, EY, Cognizant, Accenture etc. participated in the placement process.

And as Mechanical Engineering you can get placements but most Government College Students Prepare for Government Exams So you try for that too like for in field of Boiler Inspector or Junior Engineer or Assistant Engineer.

No, nothing like that, yes somehow you will get some scholarship by the state government or center government but again some criteria is their for that. So, if you want a scholarship you have to register yourself in NSP or SSP portal.
