Government Medical College (GMC) Nagpur admissions will commence with the NEET UG exam to be held on May 4, 2025. The admission will be through counseling to be done by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) for Maharashtra. The general trend is that the NEET UG application season is open from the first week of February to the middle of April, preceding the exam. The candidates need to register for counseling once they have received their NEET scores in order to get a seat in different undergraduate courses like MBBS and B.Sc Nursing at GMC Nagpur.

GMC Aurangabad and IMS BHU offer full-time MBBS courses. Admission at both the institutes is based on the NEET UG scores. To decide which of the two options is better, aspirants can refer to the following comparison table:
| Colleges | IMS BHU | GMC Aurangabad |
|---|---|---|
| MBBS Tuition Fees* | INR 1.49 Lakh | INR 6.8 Lakh |
| Shiksha Rating | 4.7/5 | 4.1/5 |
| NEET UG Cut-off (General AI-Last Round) | 1,098 | 12,470 |
*The mentioned fees are sourced from the official websites of the colleges/sanctioning bodies. They are still subject to changes and hence, are indicative.
Based on the above-table, IMS BHU seems to be a better choice for MBBS among the two options.
