GMC Nagpur admissions are currently open. The college offers admission to candidates based on their NEET score for MBBS and NEET PG scores for MD. For all other courses, selection is merit-based. Aspirants need to apply for the respective exams to get admission in the college.

The Government Medical College Nagpur offers various courses related to Medical field such as B.Sc, BPT, MD, MBBS, B.O.Th, DM, MS, PG Diploma, M.Ch. The tution fees for B.Sc. is 35k, for BPT it is 1lakh, for MBBS it is 5.9 Lakhs, B.O.Th it is 1 lakh, for DM it is 3.3 lakhs. The hostel fees for both boys and girls is just 4000 per year. The government medical college provide these courses with the lowest tution fees. So Students can easily afford it.

The Government Medical College Nagpur is one of the oldest college in India. This college offers all courses related to Medical. The Students of this college has to complete a 1 year mandatory Internship, in this internship the students learn practically what have they learn in their course. The total course fees for MBBS is around 5 lakhs. After the completion of the internship students have to appear for competitive exams for their related course and has to start their own carrier.

Selection is based on the NEET exam.
Admission to MBBS at GMC Nagpur is based on the score obtained by the candidates in the NEET UG exam. Candidates with a valid NEET score have to then register and appear for the NEET Counseling for securing a seat for admission at GMC Nagpur.
So, if you want to join MBBS at Government Medical College, then clear NEET exam organised by NTA and clear their cutoff and join MBBS college.

Around 10%-15% of the students from the MBBS course get qualified in the first attempt for the PG entrance exam. They get their courses and colleges depending on the marks scored by them in the PG entrance exams. Every MBBS graduate is allowed to practice as a medical officer in rural health centres as many years as they want. The minimum salary offered is Rs. 55,000-60,000 per month. They can also do paid tutorships. So, it is good college for MBBS .
