Hi, there is nothing like free admission in the colleges. You have to pay the fees but for getting enrolled in a specific course you need cut-off percentage in your last qualification. And if you want scholarships then you can apply for different entrance exams and on the basis of the score you will get a scholarship.

The cutoff of the college varies from year to year but it's roughly around 1800-1900 rank.

Last year, the cut off for Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Government Polytechnic College Pune was around 85.60 (general category).

65 % for home district and 77 percentage for outside.

Diploma Holders in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination, conducted by the Board of Technical Examination, Government of Pune or its equivalent, are eligible for admission to the corresponding branch of Second Year engineering.
