GB Pant University is a decent university and provides the students with placement opportunities. The median package offered to BTech students according to the previous reports is about more than INR 4.5 LPA. The students can expect a pleasant salary package after pursuing the BTech course.

Regular BTech Course

Aggregate of atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in class 12 with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology / Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies.

BTech Lateral Entry Course

Eligibility for BTech Lateral Entry Course is based on Diploma merit and Qualifying exam percentage.

BTech in Food Technology

Minimum aggregate of 50% (47.5 % for OBC, SC & ST) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (PCMB) or equivalent examination.

BTech in Biotechnology

Minimum aggregate of 45% (40 % for OBC, SC & ST) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (PCMB) or equivalent examination.

No, the students can not get direct admission in the BTech course in GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. The admission is entrance-based. The students sit for the counselling held by Uttarakhand Technical University based on the score of JEE Main (Except BTech Food Tech and BTech Biotechnology).

B.Tech in Computer Engineering in GBPUAT cutoff: The latest information about B.Tech cut off at GBPUAT changes from year to year depending upon the performance of the candidates. Normally, the cutoff marks are declared after each round of selection. If you want to apply for the admission in GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), consider the following procedure. This usually occurs amid February to March every year. They are welcome to apply online through the official website of the university in question.  The second round of counseling for GBPUAT 2024 was held between August 6–9, 2024 

 The seat allotment for the second round was on August 12, 2024 

 Document verification for undergraduate courses was held between August 13–14, 2024 

 Document verification for postgraduation and MCA courses was held on August 16, 2024
