For being eligibile to study the MBA course from GBPUAT the students should have completed their Bachelor and/or Master degree in any one Agriculture, Agricultural Chemicals, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Science/Technology, Fisheries, Food Science/Technology, Forestry, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Home Science/Community Science or BTech (Biotechnology) with aggregate of minimum 50%.

Scores of any one of the mentioned exam will be considered for the purpose of admission in MBA GBPUAT. Therefore, it is not important for the candidates to appear for both CAT and MAT. The candidates can prepare and prefer giving any one exam out of the both.

No, the admission process to the MBA course conducted by College of Agribusiness Management, GBPUAT is based on cummulative score of entrance exam, group discussion and personal interview.

The final score is cumulative result of the written entrance exam, group discussion and the personal interview. The weightage is different for all the components. The below table will give you the idea about the weightage:

The group discussion and the personal interview are important parameters to cover for the GBPUAT MBA admission purpose. After the entrance exam sore is submitted to the college, the student are then shortlisted on the basis of that. The shortlisted students are informed and then usually in the month of May of AY, the group discussion and personal interview is taken.

The students have to first apply to College of Agribusiness Management, GBPUAT through online admission portal from the official website. Following the submission of application, the students are shortlisted on the basis of their result in CAT/CMAT. The shortlisted students are then called of GD and PI. The selected students are given admission post paying of the required fee.

GBPUAT is a decent university offering many courses along with specialisations. According to the NIRF ranking the university stands at the 88 position. According to reports the median salary package offered to the students were around INR 4.5 LPA. The university is among the prominent universities in the state of Uttarakhand. But, the ultimate decision for the university selection lies with the student.

The admission in BTech at GBPUAT is through the counselling process held after JEE Mains results. The counselling is usually online for the students and organized by the UTU. The students register themselves in the UTU counselling portal and fill in all the details along with choices of college, course and branch. After fetching a seat in the counselling process the students are supposed to pay the fees and secure their admission.
